I thought the D0VE head had smaller ports. Than the D00E Cobra Jet heads. I have a set of DOVE's and they cannot pass the four finger test. I paid 300 for the D0VE's.
The CJ head ports are too big for the street. Actually any 460/429 head works great for the street. The Aluminum head weighs 40 less lbs though. The 460 is a thin wall casting block. I never went over 20 for the street. As Pony says, Id get some D0VE's,, if you can find some. I dont know whos makes a EFI manifold that fits them though. Seems like the heads changed in the mid 80's.
