I just spoke to a friend. I hope I can do him justice. First of all, the xenon bulbs can be found on ebay for about $16. They are much brighter, but may be the purplish color, corresponding to the higher intensity. He found his for $16 and his are white. You get lucky. They burn out faster then normal bulbs as well. He said to be careful with the HID kits. Sometimes, if you have two bulbs, one for high and one for low beams, the HID kit eliminates the high. Be careful. I hope this helps a little. I am pretty sure I understood him correctly about all this stuff. (haha, if anything is off a little, It's my fault, not his!
