Ok, The 88 SD cam and the 86 SD computer will work fine together. You can just use a regular gasket and not have to worry about piston to valve clearance even though you have flat top pistons. The 86 5.0 HO came with flat tops and had no clearance problems so you shouldnt either.
If you need stock E7's or the stock intake and throttle body from a 88 5.0 HO lemme know. Later,
