So... Your gonna have 4.5 inches of rim sticking out of the fender. Its gonna eat your tires and look bad.....

Mine understanding is that most people prefer to use the 6.5 backspacing and then add a 1/4 inch spacer to set it back out a bit.

I personally have a 9 1/4 inch rim w/ a 6" backspacing. Works perfect with the 275/50-15 Drag Radial........

Hey man got any pics of that car? What brand wheels do you have that are 9.25 inches wide? I may end up getting a set of 15x8's and running them. They are definantly cheaper. .Then I could spend more on the rest of the suspension to make it hook on the 8 inch rims and tires...
