The pump isn't hard to rebuild, but you will need a pulley puller and then fab up a pully press. A gear puller will just bend it into the shape of a horse shoe. On the pump, pay attention to the order of the internal plates and which way they face. I managed to put the second stage in backwards. It still pumped oil, but had no pressure. Had to take it apart and rebuild it again.
