Hello, I'm putting my Exployer Upper on. The EGR spacer (mustang oe) is to large it is open on the bottom. It looks like I can not use the spacer. What do I need to do with the electric connection for the EGR valve? What else do I need to do? For the coolant lines I was just going to loop them together.

Some help would be great. Thanks

I have gotten rid of the egr spacer but I'm stumped on how to connect my throttle cable. Any ideas would be great.

www.ronmorrisperformance.com You must have a later model Explorer without an internal EGR passage. The above link can help with that - he offers an EGR eliminator. One thing - remember that without the exhaust normally introduced into the intake by the EGR, you're taking in more air, leaning out the mixture a little - makes it slightly more prone to detonation. Although, the stock EEC-IV does provide a slightly richer mixture than a sharp tuneup will, so you might be OK. |

Thanks for your reply. I made a plate to block off the bottom of the EGR. This will work and I can keep my Emissions Legal
