I had the same problem as well.

Take out the piece of tubing that goes from your mass air meter to your throttle body. The side that goes to the throttle body, cut about 1/2" to 2/3" off of that side, and put it back together.

I have longtubes, but I really don't see how that would effect anything at all. They have nothing to do with each other, fitment wise.

That solved my problem.
