Other than the air filter and air filter housing, nothing looks out of place. The picture isn't coming up very good on this computer. I will try looking again from work tomorrow.

As far as I know, the strut tower brace was standard on the Cobra but not the GT. I don't have one on my 98 GT.

If someone really did "drive it like they stole it", they might have redlined it or otherwise beat the crap out of it. I'd check all the fluid for their condition. Just something else to factor into your decision.
