![]() Well... I am new here and don't want to start any waves, but I have no problem with "ricers", or any other "group" out there. I look at it as "to each your own". I feel this is a fad that will be around for a while.
P.S. I owned a 87 5.0 LX years ago and enjoyed it very much. Problem was, I couldn't keep a tranny in it. The T5 doesn't like powershifts. After 3 years and many dollars in trans repairs, I sold the car and got a 95 Grand Prix. Loved the car and had it for 3 years, but broke up with long time gf and decided to go back to something with a bit of power, so I bought a 96 Camaro SS which is very fun to drive(I don't drive it too often though). I also have a 88.5 Escort GT that I use as a daily driver for work, but wanted something else to drive that was nice when I wasn't working. I went and bought a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT which is actually a very nice car. I never pictured myself owning a Hyundai, but it is a very good deal. I did some tasteful mods to it and don't consider it "rice". What do you think? ![]() ![]() |
