Well,

Here's the deal, I'm 6'1" 260 lbs, but I don't drive the car, my girlfriend does, and she's 5'2" and she's fit, so I highly doubt it's a weight problem. Also, since she drives it, which means soft and nice, I also doubt the wear is due to plowing into turns at high speeds.

I'm really at a loss with this problem since the most logical things don't seem to apply.
