OK, track #'s- time to evaluate!

i finally went to track this year in my new to me 90 stang. here are some times i rean. i ran a total of 9 times!!! POOR CAR!

Heh, that's nothing. I ran my car 33 times at a 4 and a half hour test & tune (Gateway Rocks!). I wasn't worried about cooling my car for the best times. I was just working on my technique and reaction times. I got the third best reaction time of the evening at .004 (After green). Not to mention my newfound confidence in my ability

Oh, back to the beating up of your car. Don't worry, if you're on street tires you're not hurting anything too much. Now dumping the clutch at 5k with drag slicks like these clowns are suggesting? Now THAT would make me cringe, Tremec TKO and all! That's just asking to twist a 28 spline into putty.


Speaking of numbers to evaluate. I have a personal best of 14.53 at 99.33mph!! With a trap speed like that you'd think I'd be running 13s! How stubborn are these SN95s anyways?

I'm not quite running a drag suspension with blue tokicos and Steeda sport springs, but still. My best 60' is 2.25 and that run ended up being 14.69 @98.67.

My shifts points are around 5000 because on a dyno run I was making peak power at 4800, on a flakey ignition wire, which I have replaced. My rear tire pressure was 32. Does anyone have any advice for me?
