Ported Intakes?
Anyone running a ported or aftermarket intake on their 4v 4.6? Im looking at some for my car, but havn't made a decision yet.

depends...
are you going to be supercharged/turbo'd, or n/a?
with the torque loss down low with ported intakes/imrc deletes, most benefit will be seen in boosted applications that might have traction problems. i haven't been around in awhile, what did you get?

Oh wow you have a 98 cobra DOHC motor in a 93 notch?? I bet that flies thats sweeet!!!!

Dark- Yeah I'll take some pics here real soon. It looks big underthere, definatly wider than my 5.0, but it fits well enough.
Snakeman- I have a 93LX notch, w/ a 98 cobra motor, for now Its all stock except for the mass air meter and exhaust. I still have 2.73 gears in the back! I think Im gonna wait and just put a small blower, say, NOVI1000 on it, its not that much more expensive than all the bolt-ons and will yeild a lot more power. 96_4.6 thanks man, its pretty quick, Id say its putting out more power than my saleen, but the gears are killing it.
