It's an MSD part. You connect the box to your MSD box underhood and mount a little control knob in your car. You can then advance or retard your timing(15degrees of adjustability) just by turning the knob. I set mine up so I can go from 5deg. to 20deg. I ordered mine from Summit a few years ago, and it was like $75-$80.
