![]() As a general rule, any time you lessen the back pressure in an exhaust system, you loose low end torque and gain high end horse power, so a little back pressure is good for most stock engines. When you cut the pipes off, all of the bends and the friction on the wall of the pipe causes backpressure, you just lost all the backpressure behind the muffler so yeah, you can expect a small loss in low end torque. It's all good, take it to the track and see how it runs, your car may do better with more low end, depends on the setup.
