The flexplate wont matter because you are not changing the trans. therefore you cant change the size of the flexplate. the only thing you have to worry about is the counterbalence, if both the engines are pre 1980 there will be no problem, but you have to know what year the crankshafts are.
50 oz. for post 1980
28 oz. for pre 1980
