Do you have a C4 tranny?
If it is a 1969 stock tranny you have 157 tooth It looks like this 164 tooth tranny look like this Note the different body's and how the bellhousings are attached ![]() The bigger C4 with 164 tooth bellhousing are a stronger than the 157tooth C4 So if you will use a 351W it is wise to buy a 164tooth C4 because it's much stronger bellhousing and attachment to the tranny body.
