calling out The Deuce
i have "heard" that u really didnt have the 69 428 SCJ stang with a roots blower and spray.. but your in luck.. i know lots of ppl in atl ga and i should be able to crash with them while we race together one weekend.. so then we'll all have backed up our claims on here.. everyone should bring the video cameras.... i have a friend that hauls his car up their reguraly .. glenn robinson.. mabye we can haul both cars next time.. so would u like to set up a race between me and your 69 428 scj? just for gas money or so...

Apparently d00d, you can't tell when someone is being sarcastic. IMO, Duece was being sarcastic in the other thread when he said he had a 69 428SCJ. I think he was just busting your balls a little bit mang. Chill out and drop it already.

Actully it's a screw supercharger. (Holley 174)
But I've seen carbs on LOTs of roots blown cars, I don't see why you couldn't run one

do you mean the shaker hood when you say the scoop duece? Because the R- code Cobra Jets had them as well. I think there are differences between the normal Mach 1 CJ's and the SCJ's but im not exactly sure what they are.

5's through the 1/8th on street tires you say.
That has got to be a world record of some sort How the hell would you ever unleash a 325 shot on street tires?????????????????????

C'mon now bo55,
let it go, you now know that the guy was just busting your balls a bit b/c you're a n00bie, and they'll do the same too all new guys, that how you break em in to a new site, you know how it is And yes, he has a Screw style blower on a carbed car, running on ET Streets, so thats what he means by street tire, b/c they are DOT approved. I understany that ppl. think his setups sounds a lil "out there" but believe me, I was sceptical at first, honestly.... But then I rode in it Now, ya'll just all have a good time, and go about your business. -Will

But he runs Mickey Thompson ET Streets, and those are street tires. I am also as awed as ya'll are, but it doesn't always get good traction. Thing is, when you throw that much power to the rear, it'll make the tires wanna hook I've seen the car cut below a 1.5 and as high as 1.7's-1.8's alot of it depends on the track. So, there ya go man BTW, it ain't no record either, the record is probably held by somebody who had a tube-chassis'd, full blown drag car and put some ET street (or some like tire) on it, not sure, but my guess -Will

OK. I call my ET streets slicks but I guess they are DOT approved.
