Cause i gave my little bro the 96gt as i just picked up an 03.
He however, has even more limited funds than i as a college student, and any attempt to rewire stock stuff is a large money saver. The rest of the system was replaced by me on my very limited budget, so right now it consists of a head unit running wires directly to two cheap speakers up front, and two cheap ones in the back. I don't think there are any more speaker-out-wires from the head set, and was basically just curious if those speakers could somehow be wired up independently, or if i'd have to get a crossover to split the signal from two of the four outputs on my head unit in order to run all 6/not blow the crap out of the tweeters. Thanks for the replies tireburner163.
