In the future, yes there will be benefit. With stock heads you are wasting your time with anything bigger than the TFS #1. The #2 will fit but you may wind up retarding the cam, which will move the powerband WAY beyond what the stock heads will use. Also, if you run the stock shortblock in the future, AFR 185's are a bad choice because they won't clear the pistons with anything more than a stock cam.
I personally think a cam swap is a waste of effort and money until you have heads also...but that's just my 0.02
