Hey smokedchevy from Ventura, long time, no see! How've you been? You should stop by The Rice Haters Club sometime! I'm there everyday! I come here when time permits, but that's not very often.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect your tach itself is the problem. Might be a good time for an aftermarket tach.
