I just completed the install of a Venom-1000. Great kit and extremly safe. Not sure if they have one for the 5.0's. The entire system is computer controlled and it probably the safest on the market. I have only run about a 40 shot as I need to still get my colder plugs installed, but it is a hoot even at that.
There is a lot of wiring to do with it as you need to tap into the O2 sensor and all the fuel injectors. If I had to do it again, I could complete the install in about 2 - 3 hours. I spread the job out over about two weeks (hour here and an hour there) as I could not decide where I wanted things placed.

Hey, just for the record, it's N2O
I had a STOCK short block out of a 1980 truck, stock forged stang pistons, Vic Jr. intake, 750 Holley, non-roller hyd. cam at about .550" lift, IRON Windsor SR. heads, running 11.71 @ 117 MPH in a quarter. With only 125 shot of giggle gas. Biggest thing to look at is the heads, and nitrous likes lift on the cam. For what you want to do, it won't take much to build a good dependable engine, oh yeah, FAST too! ![]()
