I don't think your C-4 had a vacume kick down. It had a vacume modulator that told the transmission how hard the engine was working, by the vacume signal sent to it. The C-4 kick down is a small cable/linkage that is pulled when you floor the accelerator.

Your AOD has nothing but Throttle pressure to control the shifting and kick down.

I am quite aware of what shifts the AOD, since I installed it...several times. As for the C-4, can't swear as to what it had...that was just the best I can recall. You call it a Vacuum modulator, I call it Vacuum kick down. No argument here.

Sorry, don't mean to argue. But, there is a piece of linkage on a C-4 that is strickly for Kickdown.
