NEED A STALL CONVERTER!

your AOD plain sucks without one. along with that, a nice shiftkit and a 4.10 gear would definetly wake the car up.

2 words. Weather. Gears! Weather has alot to do with it, the particular "tune" the car is in will change during the night. That's more than likely why it kept slowing down as the night progressed.

Gears! Throw some 3.73's in there, or some 4.10's and "Let's get it up!" Don't fear the gear.
