150 is safe but its pushin it - stock rods are the weakest link

Timing on 14 with the nitrous?! How big of a shot? Unless you're running some high octane fuel, that sounds pretty scary to me...

So you're plugs look ok? No detonation I guess? That's amazing for a 150 shot. All we have here in So.Cal. is 91 octane. I've yet to experiment with race fuel & more timing. My 150 shot on 91 octane with my timing on 9 is plenty for me. I don't want to damage any of my motor internals. That's great that you can pull that off though. What are your 1/4 mile times mr49south?

That's pretty impressive. What all is done to your motor & fuel system mr49south? Have you checked your plugs after a nitrous run, or at least once you get back from the track? How do they look? No flakes of aluminum melted onto the electrodes, right? LOL. Just kidding...I'm curious to see how the 175 shot will work for you. So do you retard your timing at all from regular on motor runs? I highly suggest you retard it at least a few degrees on the 125-175 shots. But...who knows, maybe that 93 octance is helping out bigtime.
