![]() AN is a type of fitting. It can be used with many types of hose and metal lines. AN fittings offer the best seal, so I doubt the fittings had anything to do with it, but it's possible that the hose is faulty. What type of fuel lines/hose are you using? As mentioned, if you added a vent to your tank/cell, that will definitely add a nice, gasoline aroma to your garage. Leaving the air cleaner off of your carb can add to it as well, but it wouldn't create an odor where there wasn't one before.
