Buy quality, not on the edge race prepped parts. Remember just because it says, "Race" or "Off Road Use Only" doesn't equal superior quality or Heavy Duty. Most "Race Only" parts are on the edge for the maximum in performance, at the expense of reliablity. For the street you need it to stay together and be able to idle for 5-10 minutes at a time without overheating. Keep the compression where you can run pump gas, without octane additive.

Built correctly it will last a long time on the street.
