Almost always when you find stuff like that in the pan, it means a rebuild as previously mentioned. Just find a good "transmission man" to rebuild the tranny with high performance bands and clutches and reinstall with possibly an aftermarket torque convertor, shift kit, and deep Al. pan for extra capacity and maybe a trans cooler.
