Default Re: Better for 67 Stock coupe...302, 351W, 347Stroker, or351C?

i say a stroked 351W, that'd be cool. Though from reading around here i hear that a 331 (i think its 331 right?) stroked 302 is a good reliable engine.

Probably not enough to front the cost of a 351C, but enough to cover a decent 302, 331 stroker, or 289. I'm just curious what my good, solid options for a basic street engine are. What additions are worth the $$ too?

just use the 302 you have if its fresh

afr 165's
custom cam
speed demon carb
rpm air gap intake
off the top of my head ...those parts will add up to about $2,200 bucks

and to top it off ...jba-1650 and a 1650h (h-pipe) to go with it
nice headers ..i have em on mine

with mods like that ..you are lookin at between 350-400 hp
