You can probaly do a search and find some good info.... I was one of the guys who didnt get gears as one of the first mods, But i now realize gears provide a good seat of the pants improvement for only 200$ if you can install them.
Also for 189$ i slapped on a set of crane 1.7 roller rockers on my stock heads, I actually felt a significant improvement. If your looking to go fast as you can go, cheapest, nitrous is the way, but not too much since the 93+'s pistons dont like a big shot of spray. I like free mods as well  Good luck
