Just my $.02!
Yeah thats what I figure also. As soon as my ARP head studs show up I am bolting those bad boys on.

I'm a slacker, what can I say? LOL

You guys keep your eyes peeled for Canfield's new Avenger Series heads. I hear from a reliable source that they're pretty killer!

I'm not sure how anyone could pick a cylinder head for a particular application without knowing what the camshaft is, and I could share all kinds of stories about 'ported' heads that flow worse than what they did out of the box, but I digress.

With the limited information, my thinking that they will both perform about the same is about as silly as thinking the Canfields will be faster because they say "Canfield", and because they are 'ported'. IMO, theres not enough info to make a case for either.

Abbot Racing Heads ported my heads and did the valve job. They are very well known in West Texas. They have a 3.8 V6 all motor full weight 98 firebird that runs low 12's at this shitty altitude (4000+FT) so I think there port work is for the better.

I am running the Z303 cam in a 10 to 1 331 stroker with an Edelbrock performer RPM II intake and 1 3/4 longbtube headers.

I fully intend on popping wheelies and running mid 11's here in a couple months.

Thanks for yalls help,
