![]() From my experience with noisy valvetrains, and correct me if I'm wrong guys, is that a sticky lifter would make noise at any given RPM. I have a tick (my engine does actually) that is present from startup on, sometimes quieting down and sometimes a bit louder. I took a screwdriver to the valve covers but still couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. I'm still somewhat hoping exhaust. When I swap intakes, I may just have to check out the valvetrain as well. Good luck. Let us know how you remedy the noise.
