Thanks.. Yes I did polish the intake myself. I actually had the fins painted red, my car being red I thought it would look nice but once I installed it. It looked "rice" to me, didn't like it and I pulled it and went with black, much better looking IMO. To get in between the runners (sanding) I used some sanding paper that comes in a roll. Then I used an 8" spiral wheel to polish the upper intake, an 8" going blank here I can't remember the name it, but it is the last wheel you use to bring out the shine..
