The main webs will probably crank and your engine will blow apart past 500hp. There may be a warranty on the 347, but that warranty doesn't cover a defective block, and I doubt it covers a blown 347.
The Coast 347 kit puts the oil ring out of the wrist pin area, correct? That was one of the major problems with longevity from the 347 kits. Still, throwing a blower to that, then expecting a 2 bolt stock 302 block which is normally expected to handle between 450-500hp to take 600 is beyond what I would consider safe. Even with a girdle. That's just my opinion though. |
