![]() I worked on it this weekend. I removed the finders and cut a U shape in the hump around the hats and bent the metal up. I then was able to take a rod and attach a wire brush wheel to it. with a dril motor I was abel to clean the rust out. I then got some plastic undercoating and coated the hole area. The undercoating I got from pep-boys and it came with a nozzel that allowed me to get every inch even in the center, going through the top vent. Around the hats I was able to get almost a 1/2 inch coating. Then I bent the metal back down and seald it with bondo. Put it to the test and had no leaks. This worked for me!
