It sounds like something in your timing or the plugs. The timing may be off, your plugs could be clogged, there could not be enough of a spark going to the plug. There are a lot of possibilities. About the cylinder. If you dropped a cylinder you should be able to tell when its idling because it should be missing a beat in the sound. To find out which one it is just put a compression gauge to each cylinder until you find which one has no compression.
