![]() Ain't S codes cool? I have a 67 myself and no, I wouldn't try a T5 swap. I think the T5 was rated UNDER 300 ft/lbs, and that's about the only thing a 390 does well, torque. My 67 Scode was SLOWER than my stock 5.0, but made gobs of nice clouds of tire smoke. Anything can be done with enough money and effort, but not everything SHOULD be done. Mileage and top speed may not be the things you'd be better served looking for out of your classic. FE's are expensive to build NOTHING comes cheap.
