Reminds me of when I went looking for glass packs when I was younger. I didn't know what glass packs were but I knew they made cars louder!
I'll guess that a high flow catalytic converter will make the truck louder but probably not noticeably so. If you want loud, install some exhaust cut outs from JC Whitney. Then you can uncork the headers whenever you want. There might be a sensor in the exhaust of the new vehicles so it might not be a good idea.
