I don't know much about air tools or their ratings, but I know when I was changing the alternator pulley on my mustang we were using an impact wrench. I can't remeber the brand of the first one we had, but it was cheaper and would not loosen the pulley. We switched over and started using a Mac impact wrench. It took the pulley off easily. I know Mac tools can be high, but in this case it was worth it.
