![]() I'm going to swap in my C4 this week coming up. I will be running a full manual rev v/b and I have an Emerald torque converter on the way. Torque multiplication seems to be just as important and stall speed but you don't here much about it. Gary at emerald told me his have 2.8 Torque Mult. and a TCI or B&M only have about 1.8 . Also one of the things that make PI stallion converters so liked is there torque mult. which is also 2.8 But the emerald converter is about $200-$250 less than PI.
Just my .02 ------------------ 88LX 5.0 5spd 1 5/8" shorty headers, Off road H-pipe, Race magnum bullets, K&N, ASP 3" Crank pulley, 3.73's, ram air, air bag, skinnies, battery in the hatch, 75hp NOS Dry Kit, Explorer intake, Pro 50 shifter. 13.07@104 N/A 8.10@84 N/A 1/8th ??.??@??? on the juice 7.93@87 N2O 1/8th "no traction" http://www.angelfire.com/ns/PurgingPony/50mainpage.html |
