i had the same problem on my 97 gt. it seemed the pad on the right rear of the car was put on and it settled wrong, i looked, and it was crooked....in fact, i think i remember the guy telling me that it was on upside down too....anyway, i would check that, because if that is the case, it is diggin into your rotors just like mine was, and i saved it in the nick of time....ps, it is annoying as all hell.!!!!
