While it is true that G-Tech does not always give an accurate reading because you have to manually pu tin the weight, which can lead to errors.
However, I've tested the G-Tech against the dyno. It was only 1hp off. Now, this may not be a typical case. But for what it is worth it is pretty close. But I think where it really comes in handy is that if you measure the HP with G-Tech, and the you put some mods on and test again. Now you are on the equal footing as the first run and can tell if the power did increase or not. Hope this helps. Steve K. |
