![]() That sounds a little high. Performance Plus, a local Mustang shop, does 3:73 installs for $298, and thats w/ them providing everything. The gears are FRPP too, no cheap stuff.
Now, disc rears and speedo gear are slightly extra, but the price couldn't go much over $400, if it even gets that high. They did my '91 Mustang in about 2 hours while I waited. Try to find a reputable performance shop that really knows Fords. They should be able to do it for a better price then that and have it done by the end of the day. ------------------ 1997 Thunderbird 4.6L: Dynomax cat-back, MN-12 perf. offroad downtubes and Y-pipe w/ Magnaflow resonator, 80mm MAF with cone filter, B&M trans cooler, Inject-Tech chip, MAC U/D pulleys, KVR front brake upgrade. 15.2 @ 91 before exhaust & pulleys. Not bad for a 3800lb auto 4.6L No Longer own: 91 LX 5.0L 5 spd |
