I agree with n8s_stang. I didn't trust my gauges after the car overheated, so I bought an Auto Meter oil and temp gauge. The oil definately works because you can see it rise and fall in pressure depending on what the car is doing. With the oil, I was able to attach a "T" fitting to the factory sending unit so that I wouldn't have a dead gauge on my dash. Good luck.
