B&M makes a remote trans filter kit that uses a FL-1A (or FL-1HP) filter just like your engine. The kit only costs about $25. Plumb it between the trans and cooler. Line out of converter into the filter. Filter out to cooler. Cooler out back to trans. Best thing about it is that if your converter ever fails, the filter will trap all the mess before it can make it back to your trans to ruin the trans.
