I have same problems. One day it starts up runs fine all day, next it wont stay running when cold then barely keeps a 500rpm idle once warm.
I completely forgot about IAC which I will have to take a look at. I'm glad I read this post. Was thinking my fuel filter is bad and bought one to replace it. Think I will still change filter since it has 35k miles on it.
