a semi-cheap alternative would be a set of world products iron heads...alot cheaper than aluminum, plus.. if you DO get a set of older 351 heads, you'll probably have to go thru them, put some new valves in and get a valve job done...almost the same price as the iron WP heads...PLUS, they're smog legal.. the older 351w heads arent drilled for the air pump lines...
by the way, I'm not sure when, but late 70's/ early 80's, they changed the 351 heads, they're identical to the 302 heads...
