![]() If you look at the harness head on with the clip on the top, it goes (from left to right) REF(A), SIG(B), GND(C), B+V(D).

![]() thanks for your reply, but are you sure? according to chilton's it is A= power, B= ground, C= MAF rtn, D=MAF. not knowing what rtn means, nor is it referred to anywhere, nor does anyone else know what it means i am assuming that C= signal ground.where did your info come from? thank you.

![]() Whoops! I listed them backwards:
(D)Ref, (C)MAF signal, (B)GND, (A)B+V You should probe across MAF signal and GND to determine if your MAF is working. Should be around 1.5-2 volts at idle. B+V is the battery possative terminal and should be 12V (with respect to GND). MAF rtn is what you are looking for. |

![]() so what does MAF rtn stand for? are you sure that you dont have C and D mixed up. I believe that C is the signal ground and D is the signal output but i may not be right, that is what i am trying to establish. I am using a 4.6 mass air sensor on another engine as a conversion and need to make sure that it is wired correctly. thank you for your replies.
