![]() Well, i just spent an entire day, with a friend, installing autometer's electric fuel and oil pressure gauges. all i can say is at least the damn lights work on them. anyways, i hooked the oil pressure gauge up just like the diagram showed....and no dice...it doesn't work. i ran the sending wire from the terminal on the sending unit, to the designated terminal on the gauge...i ran a ground wire from the designated terminal on the gauge, to my engine compartment. is that the problem? also...i have no clue how to get the fuel pressure gauge to screw into the fuel rail. how is this done? do i need to buy some kind of adapter. the adapter that came with the fuel pressure gauge is identical to the one that came with the oil sending unit, which i used to attatch it (oil unit) with.
can anyone help me? i am so pissed right now that i don't even watn to look at my car in the morning...thanks...josh ------------------ ************************* '89 GT, T-5, Bored .030 Over, GT-40P heads, MAC 1 5/8" headers, MAC Off-Road H-Pipe, 2 1/2" Flowmasters, Edelbrock 65mm T.B., Trick Flow Intakes, Crane 2031 cam, 1.7 Roller Rockers, Keith Black hyp. flat top Pistons, Screamin' Deamon Coil, Champion Plugs, March Underdrive Pulleys, 255lph Fuel Pump, SVO Motorsport Clutch, Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator, Formula GP Suspension, MAC Upper & Lower Control Arms, FMS 3.73 Gears. ************************* |

![]() You will need to get a adapter for your fuel rail. Anyone that sells AN and NPT fitings can get one for you. The oil pressure gauge should work if you followed the directions.

![]() the only thing i can think of for the oil gauge...is maybe it wasn't supposed to be grounded...or...maybe it's a bad ground....is there any way that you can put the sending unit in too tightly?? i dont' think i did this though
