![]() I just read the "Small Stick Science" article in the 12/01 MM&FF issue. Ken Miele has a '98 Mustang with an '85 302 (306 probably) that ran a 11.38 at 118 mph. This is with a 585 cfm Holley, ported Victor Jr. intake, E5TE heads (1.78"/1.45" valves) etc. I realize that it's a race engine, but he's running better than my 306, S-trim combo in my Mustang GT. Comparing apples to oranges someone will probably say, but I want maximum power from my engine. How do these engines make so much hp and torque?
