Default police radar "jammers"

anybody have any experiance with these things??I may be in for a hell of a commute between offices and that would be handy if they were any good. I believe i'll also put an attorney on retainer.

Default Lasers?

Actually, my radar detector works well for the usual radar dector beams. The only one that fails for me is the laser beam.

I would be interested in a jamming beam that stayed on all the time to combat that one.

Save some time guys and just buy a Valentine 1, its the best of the best. And you'll be protected the best that you can possibly be as far as a rafar detector goes.

I've done a lot of research on laser jammers. I think great protection is to get a Valentine radar detector and a K40 Laser jammer. You should call K40 and order a free brochure package. TONS of useful info in what they send you.

I believe any active radar jammers are illegal in all 50 states.

I have used lazer jamer's in the military but they wouldnt fit in the front of your car at all. there is also a concer about the unit causing blindness due to reflectitory radiation they definately work though no little lights.

most of the military stuff work by flooding the spectrum with various frequency and intensity to cause the reciving unit to reset.

never had to use one for real but messed up alot of Serb equipment by zapping them when they were sitting outside of the UNPA.

jammers are illegal in all 50 states because you need an FCC license to broadcast a signal.

Valentine 1 is the best choice in defense, hands down.

Escort 8500 kicks ***. Check out radartest.com. It never fails me and detects multiple bands AND sources at once. This comes in really handy around all the driver feedback speed limit signs around here in Orlando. For those of you unfamiliar with these signs, its a speed limit sign with a "your speed" window built in. Same size as a regular sign. They use them a lot around schools. The problem is, they emit K-band all the time, even when not displaying speed, and they are very long range. My detector will pick one up over 2 miles away in heavy traffic. Police like to hide around them because people ignore their detectors in those areas. Sneaky bastards.

The lasers detectors are infra-red. I looked into various emitters from scientific equipment wharehouses to overwhelm them but found it to be cost restrictive. The lasers are narrow and aimed most often at headlights and front license plates because of their reflectivity. One of the guys I spoke with said that high beams put out enough infra-red to reduce laser effective range by 50%. Remove front plates if allowed to. Black cars reflect less laser than white.

Default Lasers?

The reports that I read showed that none, (Valentine included), were successful in warning against lasers until it was too late. I use an Escort 8500 which works well in all realms other than laser. That's why I need to check out an affordable laser jammer ( legal or not). All the operator will get is an error message. He won't know what caused it.
